With the new Husker season starting tomorrow, I can't get anything else on my mind to write about. Please remember, I don't claim to be a poet and I did these in 20 minutes :)

Husker Pledge

I pledge allegiance to Nebraska, the finest state of the Americas.
And of Husker football, I am a fan.
We unite, one nation on the gridiron, indivisible throughout the fall,
Striving each game to go all out, balls to the wall.


The Huskers' Prayer

Husker Football has a special place in Heaven.
Hallowed be this place.
May it be full of caught passes and yards gained,
Reaching as close to perfection as man can reign.
Give us this day our share of touchdowns,
and let us sack the crap out of those who try to touchdown against us.
Lead us not to injury
But deliver us from penalties
For Nebraska is the kingdom,
the power and the glory
forever. Amen.
