Three non-related things I believe fundamental to life. The sooner you learn them, the better:
     1. Stop seeking out other people's quotations to post as your Facebook status or Tweeting them. Use your own words. How do you expect to leave your imprint on the world if you cannot get your own thoughts out there? Be your own person with her own thoughts, not just someone who is good at repeating what others say and think.
     2. Love yourself. If you are not happy and comfortable with the person you are, others can tell. They will not be as comfortable around you. If you're a really good actor, they may like the person you pretend to be, but you will not and you can never be truly happy pretending for long. I don't think any person is ready to fall in love with someone else if he or she doesn't love him or herself first. Be the person you want to be, not who you think others want you to be. You'll be happier and others will see your happiness and flock to you. These are the people you want to surround yourself with--not the people who come to you because you mold to the person they need/want you to be. Be you. Love you.
     3. Things don't always happen for a reason. You cannot waste your life away waiting for things to happen because "things always happen for a reason." You are not entitled to great things to come to you. No one is. You have to be a catalyst for things to happen. Go out of your comfort zone. Seek out new people, new challenges, new ideas. If you spend life waiting for something to happen, life will pass you by.
